Wireless mp3 headphones on the market today come in a variety of technologies, offered by many different brands. When we talk about the mp3 headphones, we are talking about those that will work with any mp3 player. These are not to be confused with many models that will only work with the iPod specifically. People are complaining all over the web about the head-band cracking, getting progressively larger, or just breaking. The other complaint is they just plain stop working!

Size of the receiver and wireless mp3 headphones: This is an important consideration to take into account when purchasing a pair of wireless mp3 headphones. Pictures can be a little skewed in product descriptions, so make sure you read a few reviews about people’s experience with the receivers. Again, you’ll see people’s complaints all over the internet about not realizing the receiver was going to be so large!

So you can do your swimming laps in the pool and still rock out to your tunes. Some have complained about the snugness of fit, but others rave about how cool the product is.

Transmitter for your mp3 player: This may be something you want to look into, however it is not a pair of mp3 headphones. Instead, this is a transmitter that plugs into your mp3 player, and then transmits the signal to your headphones, home, or car stereo. These will be Bluetooth or RF (radio frequency).
